Kempsey Shire Council will be actively engaging with the community by commencing a program of community catch-ups.

A part of Council’s Communications Strategy, the catch-ups will involve Councillors and senior council staff but will be less formal than a council meeting.

The meetings will be scheduled quarterly at different locations in the shire to provide an opportunity to update residents on projects and priorities specific to their area of the Macleay while allowing for site visits and meetings with community groups.

Residents are encouraged to attend the first community catch-up at the Stuarts Point Hall, Ocean Street, Stuarts Point, on Wednesday 25 October from 5pm until 7pm.
